Ty + Nikki

Getting to know Ty + Nikki through their engagement shoot, wedding questionnaire, zoom call, and texts exchanged was so wonderful. They were the most easy going, laid back couple. 

We first met during their engagement shoot. This was a fun afternoon at two different locations. We captured the sweetest moments and all the love they share. You could feel it in each photo. Ty + Nikki were so patient with me and with each other as we captured their beautiful engagement photos. We shot a casual session at The UT Ag Center and a more formal session as Middle Fork Bottoms. We had so much fun.

Being able to capture engagement photos for my couples not only helps me get to know them but my couples also get to know me a little bit more. This is a big deal considering I will be capturing one of the biggest days of your lives. ;) We always have the most fun too! 

Their wedding day was no different. The black and white attire for the wedding party, the pops of green and color for the details, the pendant Nikki gave Ty, their private moment exchanging vows, and the little details and moments throughout the day - made their wedding a day to remember. 

Their wedding took place at JL Acres Venue in Henderson, TN. It is a beautiful venue with a full kitchen, reception area indoors, a grooms suit + bridal suit, and lots of outdoor spaces for a ceremony, reception, or photo opts. It is the perfect spot for a wedding. Ty + Nikki held their ceremony outside - it was a warm day but beautiful day for a wedding! The reception was held inside and outside for dancing. Much fun was had and their love was truly felt that day. 

A few moments that stood out to me for their wedding day would be - Nikki giving Ty his pendant of his grandmother. The surprise and emotion shown was a precious moment. Nikki + Ty both loved his grandmother and I know that pendant meant so much to him. Another moment would have to be when Ty + Nikki took the time to exchange their own wedding vows. They did this in complete privacy and is something I would recommend to any couples getting married. 

This day was such a special day for Ty + Nikki and pray they have a beautiful life together. I know the love they share is genuine and pure. Please enjoy a few photos from their special day below...
